ALT My partner was accepted to a Danish university giving us a chance to build a better future. We’ve been preparing for this as much as possible, but as these things usually go, a lot of small expenses have started adding up to a bigger sum than we initially anticipated. These have included flights to Turkey to attend a VFS appointment, numerous unexpected fees and most recently, our cat’s sudden eczema flare-up which brought additional veterinary costs on top. We are also bringing our beloved cat with us, but there are no direct pet-friendly flights which doubles the cost of our plane tickets.
