Simply just a statement that people prefer to settle in cultural environments they relate to and have ties in (Stein grew up Catholic in Kentucky). Just based on demographic concentrations in those areas. Not everything is racist no matter how bad you want it to be

Sadly the NFL will come calling and you have to hope he doesn’t want to scratch that itch, he won’t leave Kentucky for a different college job with the family ties he has to the university and state.
