I would strongly consider putting Frelick in the leadoff spot tonight. He’s looked outstanding at the plate lately and the Brewers need to put some hitters in front of Chourio and Wild Bill so those solo HRs become two or three run homers. Here’s the lineup I’d like to see 1. Sal Frelick RF L 2. Jackson Chourio LF R 3. William Contreras C R 4. Brice Turang 2B L 5. Christian Yelich DH L 6. Andrew Vaughn 1B R 7. Cooper Pratt SS R 8. Luis Lara CF S 9. Joey Ortiz 3B R Though I wouldn’t be totally against giving Bauers another shot tonight at first only because he has taken Buehler deep in one of his five ABs against him and left handed hitters are batting .273 against him this season as opposed to righty’s hitting .234

I’m all for giving Andrew Vaughn a shot ahead of Bauers at 1st and Lara in center for Mitchell … both Bauers and Mitchell look lost at the plate right now. But those of you suggesting benching Bruce Turang for Hamilton are being ridiculous. Turang is one of the best overall second basemen in the game. He had one bad defensive play, but there’s no denying he’s elite defensively and he has a proven track record as a hitter that supersedes a few subpar games.

Can’t help but be nervous now for Brewers.. we outhit them by plenty last night and couldn’t get it done. Damn sure can’t blame May or the pitching in general, Bauers has been average at best since start of September and now he’s dropped to borderline awful. Mitchell looks baffled at the plate too no matter who’s on the mound. I know it’s tough as a manager to bench someone who has performed the way Bauers has all year, but you have to treat him as the player he is. And right now the player he is is killing this team on both sides. That throw was tough, but very playable for a major league 1st baseman.

Bauers will get nothing in free agency… he’s showing the world he’s not a big time player

God damn it I hate this, it’s always what happens with the Brewers a fluke thing like a lineup change puts a guy in the lineup that makes the difference that wouldn’t be and costs them the game Shit!!!!

Bauers has regressed to very mid as this season has progressed. How do you watch that pitch for strike 3????

There’s great Dustin May and bad Dustin May… there is no mid Dustin May. We get good, Brewers probably got this, we get bad I hope it’s recognized soon enough to get him out and give us a shot.

If a woman can brutally murder her three young children and not only not go to prison but be considered a hero by half the country, and another woman can be sentenced to death, have the sentence carried out and then instead of her dying she’s put on life support… Maybe the world is weird enough for the Brewers to win a World Series.

If Joe Mixon is healthy why the hell didn’t the Packers jump all over this??? They have the worst running back room I think I’ve ever seen on an NFL team. Brooks is hurt, Lloyd and Johnson can’t pass block and can’t hold on to the football… oh team, and they aren’t exactly setting the world on fire running the ball either. I know Mixon is probably a shell of what he was, but he at least is a professional veteran running back that won’t lose a game for you. We don’t have a running back that fits that description right now.

This Brewers victory has me too happy to be upset overall…. But it’s really heartbreaking to see Edgerrin Cooper go down likely for the season today, he was starting a breakout season in which I’m convinced he would have emerged as the consensus top inside linebacker in the NFL. He’s an absolutely special talent, best linebacker in Green Bay since the 60’s. Really hope he can heal up quickly and completely. He’s a joy to watch
