Andy Green took a roster/team that was reeling and traded everyone to a .500+ team after the deadline.
His press conferences were enough for me. Shoots it straight, exactly how Mets fans want it. Mendoza was always beating around the bush.

What kind of trade package would it take to get someone like Hunter Goodman to Queens next season?
Under club control through 2029, not a great defender but his bat makes up for it. With Torrens signed for the future, I think it’d work well. Also wouldn’t have to watch Alvarez.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Mets don’t win another game at home (or at all) for the rest of this season. Fans have deflated that club house who was actually playing a good brand of baseball until the last 3 days transpired.
