Good NEWS Afghanistan Is Making Progress The first phase of the fourth section of the Herat–Khaf railway line has been inaugurated at a cost of more than $58 million.

KPK Government Spokesperson’s Allegations, Facts on Record In response to the allegations made today against national institutions, the following facts regarding procurement and deliveries to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police are worth clarifying: Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) Since receiving the orders in May 2025: ▪️ 59 bulletproof vehicles have already been delivered to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police. ▪️ 14 Armoured Protection Vehicles (APVs) have been delivered, including 6 state-of-the-art Dragon vehicles—all currently with KP Police. ▪️ 4 additional Dragon vehicles are ready for delivery. ▪️ As per the contract, the remaining 7 APVs are scheduled for completion in the first week of October, while the final 6 are scheduled for mid-November. The claim that Islamabad Police received more modern APCs also needs context: Islamabad Police ordered Mohafiz APCs, and that is what was supplied. KP Police’s requirement was for B7 vehicles, and that requirement was fulfilled. The buyer specifies the requirement; the manufacturer supplies according to the approved order. NRTC During the current financial year: ▪️ Contracts were awarded for 81 RCIED jammers and 23 anti-drone guns. ▪️ Of the 81 jammers, 25 have already been delivered. The remaining units are scheduled for delivery between October and March, as stipulated in the contract. ▪️ The 23 anti-drone guns are scheduled to be delivered in full during October and December, in accordance with the contractual timeline. These are the procurement orders, delivery figures and contractual timelines, not political claims. The record speaks for itself.

The CM-708UNB is China’s CASIC-developed submarine-launched anti-ship cruise missile. Capsule-fired via 533mm torpedo tubes, it packs a ~290 km strike range, subsonic sea-skimming flight (~Mach 0.8–0.9), INS/sat-nav midcourse, and active radar terminal homing.
