🧵 Why I think solana:Hh3oTaqDCKKfdBgsQEvxp9sUwyNf8x9qmKqEMLBWpump might be one of the most mispriced narratives on Solana right now.
Not financial advice. Just look at the story here.
1/
Almost every memecoin is trying to CREATE a meme.
$HODL doesn’t have to.
HODL is already one of the most recognizable words in crypto.
It dates back to 2013.
Before Solana.
Before Ethereum.
Before memecoin season.
Before 99% of crypto Twitter existed.
2/
And here’s the part that matters:
This isn’t just some random team that grabbed the ticker.
The project has the involvement/backing of GameKyuubi — the guy behind the original 2013 “I AM HODLING” BitcoinTalk post.
That changes the narrative completely.
This is crypto history coming on-chain.
3/
Think about the memes that reached massive valuations.
DOGE.
SHIB.
PEPE.
BONK.
The common denominator?
The meme itself was instantly understandable.
You didn’t need a 40-page whitepaper.
Now ask yourself:
What word is more native to crypto than HODL?
4/
The ticker might be the craziest part.
$HODL
Four letters.
Every crypto investor already knows what it means.
Every bull market brings millions of new people into crypto.
And one of the first words they learn?
HODL.
That is incredibly powerful branding.
5/
Then look at the valuation.
We’re talking about a project still sitting in the LOW millions.
Not $100M.
Not $500M.
Not $1B.
$1.6M now.
For a narrative connected directly to one of the most famous moments in crypto history.
The asymmetric setup is obvious to me.
6/
And the project hasn’t just stopped at launching a token.
$HODL launched on Solana.
It has expanded cross-chain to Ethereum through a 1:1 LayerZero-powered bridge.
Soon Robinhood chain.
The narrative is becoming chain-agnostic.
Because realistically…
HODL was never a Solana meme.
It was never an Ethereum meme.
It’s a crypto meme.
7/
That’s why I think people focusing only on today’s chart are missing the bigger picture.
Memecoins are attention markets.
Attention follows stories.
And the best stories are the ones that can’t easily be recreated.
Anyone can launch another dog.
Anyone can launch another frog.
Anyone can invent another character.
You cannot recreate 2013.
8/
Imagine
$HODL at:
$10M MC
$25M MC
$50M MC
$100M MC+
Suddenly everyone starts asking:
“Wait… is THAT the coin connected to the guy who created HODL?”
That’s when narrative reflexivity can get crazy.
Price creates attention.
Attention creates buyers.
Buyers create more attention.
9/
Could it go to zero?
Of course.
It’s a memecoin.
But that’s not why I’m interested.
I’m interested because the upside of a globally recognizable crypto meme catching fire from a tiny valuation is massively different from buying the 500th derivative meme at the same market cap.
10/
Bitcoin gave crypto HODL in 2013.
Thirteen years later, the original story is finally on-chain.
Tiny valuation.
Historic narrative.
Perfect ticker.
Solana + Ethereum.
And a word recognized by virtually the entire crypto market.
Maybe the market ignores it.
Or maybe someday everyone looks back and says:
How was
$HODL ever this cheap?
$HODL
