Star Wars: Starfighter was shot on IMAX-certified cameras. They used a Sony Venice 2 camera at 8K resolution.
The digital film will be transferred to IMAX 70mm film. This is the same process as Ryan Gosling’s last movie, Project Hail Mary.

Phil Tippett is shutting down his animation studio after filing for bankruptcy. Tippett and his studio made much of Star Wars’ stop motion effects, starting on the first film and as recently as The Mandalorian and Grogu.
