Her mother's DNA quite literally shows Yorkshire and other parts of England. My children are being raised by an ethnically English woman. Their granny is English, their great-granny is English. Their great-grandad is English and fought the Nazis. Their mother's side is as English as it gets. Rishi Sunak's parents came to the UK in the 1960s. You can't possibly say Rishi is as English as the mother of my children. By doing so, you would be erasing Englishness as an ethnicity and identity. If my children were born and raised in Egypt, they would still be half-English because their mother is English. However, Sunak is British by birth. It really is not that hard.
