Disgraceful and completely unacceptable. No representative of a modern Western democracy has any business participating in, let alone actively facilitating , this barbaric, medieval slaughter. Buying conscious animals to have their throats slit alive for a religious ritual is not "cultural sensitivity"... it's a betrayal of basic animal welfare standards and enlightenment values you should be promoting. Germany should be ashamed.
