One of my favorite cryptids is the so-called "Triassic Kraken". It's supposedly a super intelligent extremely old species of squid. What makes it so interesting is that, according to the man who theorized it existed, the kraken made a self portrait using ichthyosaur bones!

In 1937, a new species of water bear called Thermozodium esakii was discovered in Hiroshima, Japan. Water bears are tiny but very tough organisms, indivisible to the naked eye. Unfortunately, the specimen was later lost and more proof of its existence has yet to be discovered

Many years ago, before mobile phones were normal, I arranged to meet a lad for a date in a bar. He didn't turn up. After 15 mins I was leaving but I bumped into friends who asked me to join them. 10 mins later the lad appeared, flustered and apologetic and we had our date >>

I've seen a LOT of confusion over this and people saying "wasn't this known?" so to clear it up:
A friend of Roger (the guy who took the film), Bob H, said Roger faked it. He didn't have proof, but now we have a video of a test run and a confession from Roger's wife and son
The iconic Bigfoot video from 1967 is officially confirmed to be a hoax after new archival footage was found for an upcoming documentary.
