HOW WE WERE SCAMMED OF $250
i have successfully been rage baited
this story might be a little lenghty but it's just for the sake of transparency.
first, if you fall for whatever story he's written, i'm genuinely sorry for you because these people will treat you worse than rag.
on the 28th of August at exactly 7:05,
@Xenoprime_eth DM'd me about a bounty that had a price pool of $250.
i was skeptical because it was lower than what i'd have normally gone for but i accepted because of the initial offer to join his team.
i genuinely believed in whatever he was building because we had previously interacted on the tl and he even dm'd talking about his product.
after some days he asked if i could bring other video creators onboard (it now became a paid gig instead of the initial bounty).
what hurt me most is that i dm'd creators (
@Tidoss_Steph @I_am_Endurance @la_victo_ire) and they immediately agreed (irrespective of the prize pool) because they trusted the source, me.
besides that, he was talking about an ambassador gig for them so i had hopes of a long term partnership, i wanted us to just win together.
during that period the creators complained site that
@Xenoprime_eth built crashed multiple times.
when i called his attention to it, he just said it was a name problem because there was project using 'Arc' as their name too.
my creators submitted their amazing videos and when it was time to pay up
@Xenoprime_eth gave all sort of excuse.
the most annoying part was that he never communicated, we were always texting and calling him.
i'd leave multiple messages in his dms and he would not reply. maybe because his read receipt was off he'd think i didn't know he had read it.
i texted him more times than an ex begging her lover to take her back.
i'm genuinely surprised he stated his father's death as one the reasons because we only got to know yesterday AFTER threathening to handle it publicly.
now, i'm not without empathy neither am i a witch that delights in the death of other but he never communicated!
as if it wasn't bad enough, he suggested that he paid in his token (which was dipping) and we refused.
i called him a scam because he texted me in hopes that the money would appear before the gig had expired, meaning that there was no budget for creators!
i'm so grateful to God that i've never scammed anyone in my life because i wonder what the video creators would have been thinking.
so, you see why you shouldn't pity every story you read?
brethen, would you believe that after my tweet, he started consistently texting me (someone that would go days without reaching out).
we all have issues o, abi you don forget say na cloth dey cova bodi???
.
@Xenoprime_eth it wouldn't have gotten to this if you were honest from the start.
