We've heard ongoing concerns from the community about the misuse of combined viewership and how it affects where channels appear when browsing categories 💜 Starting today, Browse Category pages will now use each channel's individual viewer count when sorting by viewership, rather than the combined viewer count from a Stream Together or Co-streaming session. For those Streaming Together or Co-Streaming on Twitch, the features themselves aren’t changing. A few things to know: - The viewer count shown on stream thumbnails will reflect the channel's individual viewers - Combined viewer counts will still appear on channel pages and in the left navigation for followers. - Combined viewcount still results in higher placement in the Following List for viewers who sort high to low

Major upgrade – your T2+ subs can now send GIFs in Chat! Get psyched and let your community know they’ve got a whole new way to blow up Chat. You can turn off the feature any time you like in your subscription settings. Just note that once it’s disabled, all T2+ subscribers will receive a notification that the benefit is turned off. To upgrade your subscription tier on Twitch, go to the streamer's channel page or your subscriptions dashboard on a web browser, click Manage My Sub or your subscription settings, and select a higher tier (Tier 2 or Tier 3). Upgrades are charged immediately.
