🚨 Strategy just filed a proxy to convert
$STRF,
$STRC,
$STRK and
$STRD to daily dividends on a 365-day calendar, including weekends.
Vote is October 28th and it changes everything. 🧵
🗓️ Right now, preferred holders wait weeks between earning and receiving dividends. Daily dividends are bridging that gap to the shortest payout lag possible today.
Daily accrual on a 365-day calendar means no more ex-div "event" dip. But because markets still have T+1 settlement, we should expect a weekly cadence to the trading volume all other factors being equal.
Here's the weekly cycle you need to understand 👇
📅 Tuesday–Thursday
Smooth, steady single-day accrual. Expect tighter spreads and lower volume. Par stability should be easily achievable in healthy sentiment conditions.
📉 Monday may see mild sell pressure as Friday buyers rotate out after becoming shareholders of record through the weekend. It will still be vastly smoother than legacy preferred volatility.
🎰 Jackpot Friday
Buy before the evening cutoff. You're on record Friday. Weekend accrual begins.
T+1 settlement means your broker processes Monday. Fri + Sat + Sun dividends all land as payouts to your account on Tuesday. Even though Strategy is paying the dividends out on Monday, you realistically won't see them in your account until Tuesday.
💰 Triple Tuesday
Every week. Like clockwork.
Friday. Saturday. Sunday. Three days of accrual settling on Monday and hitting your account on Tuesday morning.
⚡ When brokerages move to T+0 or tokenized atomic settlement becomes standard, even this lag disappears. Triple Monday becomes real with T+0. 24/7 trading enables weekend payouts. The "event" narrative fades entirely as infrastructure catches up to the instrument.
Strategy is building for that world today. Great proactive move by the team. Let's see if the market agrees.🟠
