The margins in the NFL are so miniscule. The Dolphins are bad and their best player is out. But the Chiefs could easily lose this game if they don't lock in. You can't sleepwalk in this league.

Steep learning curve for Collin Klein and his staff, but no reason to panic. Focus on the bigger picture with this program. Great days are ahead.

Ideally, when Houston visits in 2 weeks:
- Tibbs is back. He changes K-State's passing game.
- Duff is back as QB2 and that lets Avery run more.
- The front 7 has figured out a couple things against the run. It'll never be a strength for this team, but they need to be better.

Cats beat themselves tonight and that's the cardinal sin of K-State football. Just have to learn from it. New staff and first road game, there was always going to be a sharp learning curve for players & staff alike.

Kinda seeing the opposite of a bend-don't-break defense from K-State so far this year. A whole lot of highlight plays... and then a fair handful of lowlights.

Way too much of this game is coming down to how the officials interpret contact in the secondary. Inconsistent and affecting both teams.
