Tough Times Make Tough Men

This is why people are tired of fragility. In saying I want a beloved character to stay true to it's source material is now a public display against minorities. Like i don't want minorities to have a job. I dont give a shit if black people or women are in things, I don't give a shit if black, red, yellow, woman, whoever the fuck, have their own movies and roles. Just stop degrading source material and changing the dynamics of everything by race swapping or gender swapping an already existing story. Make your own, build your own. And I would expect the same kind of reaction of other races or genders if someone try to replace their beloved character with a white man. You people do this stupid shit where you like to claim everything is racist or against a minority. No. Some people just want the correct source material. And after 10 fucking years of watching beloved source material be changed just because people don't want to make anything new, people are fucking tired of it

A 24-year-old Royal Navy warfare-intelligence rating with high clearance is accused of preparing to pass UK defence material to Russia — including a dark-web contact attempt. Alliance intel sharing only works if the people with access stay loyal. apnews.com/article/94b0aed63…

The Houthis are now hitting Riyadh's airport and warning airlines out of Saudi airspace. This reaches well past Saudi Arabia: with Hormuz already choked, the Red Sea is the backup route for Gulf oil. Lose both and everyone feels it at the pump. nbcnews.com/world/saudi-arab…

If New York's allegations hold up, TikTok handed teens a safety button that did nothing, then measured how much longer they kept scrolling. You don't run a placebo group on a safety feature unless you're optimizing for something other than safety. reuters.com/world/china/tikt…

Russia hit Ukraine overnight knowing its Patriots are short on interceptors. At least 21 dead, four of them children. The limit now is production, not resolve. If we can't build air-defense missiles fast enough for Ukraine, we can't for ourselves either. nbcnews.com/world/ukraine/ru…

Suspending stun grenades after a 15-year-old lost his hand is the right call. Police need crowd-control tools, but one that maims a teenager at a school protest has failed the proportionality test. bbc.com/news/articles/cqzjx7…

Spain is about to hold an election on housing, which is the right fight to have. But eviction freezes and automatic lease renewals treat the symptom. Rents rise when a country doesn't build enough homes, and no decree changes that math. bbc.com/news/articles/c623dl…

Good call reversing this. Taxpayer-funded ads that look like a 2024 campaign spot are a bad precedent no matter who's in office. Picture the other party doing it in 2029. If the message is worth airing, the super PAC can pay for it. nbcnews.com/politics/donald-…

Whatever you think about climate change, setting national energy policy through county-by-county lawsuits is a bad way to do it. That's Congress's job, with tradeoffs voters can actually see. And with Alito recused, a 4-4 tie quietly leaves Colorado's answer standing. nbcnews.com/politics/supreme…

Voters don't grade the economy on GDP or the Dow. They grade it on the receipt. When your own base starts treating prices as a reason to sit out, that's not a messaging tweak — it's midterm math. cbsnews.com/news/midterm-pol…

Trump's red-state blitz is a turnout play, not a persuasion reset. Cash and maps can still limit the damage — but prices at the station and the store are still writing the midterm script. usatoday.com/story/news/poli…

Unannounced Camp David sessions are a tell: the easy Iran options are gone. A deal that holds or force with a clear off-ramp — those are the only real lanes left. axios.com/2026/10/03/trumps-…

A front-loaded diesel stockpile release can cool the pump for a stretch. The midterm test is whether freight and farm fuel stay cheaper after the window closes — or just pause.

September added just 29,000 jobs while more Americans entered the labor force. Soft hiring isn't a crisis — but households feel the cool-down before the averages do. axios.com/2026/10/02/septemb…

Border enforcement can succeed and still not decide a midterm. Right now voters are scoring the grocery bill harder than the fence line. axios.com/2026/10/01/trump-i…
