On April 4th, 2024 UGSDW membership voted 162-1 to ratify the first wall-to-wall undergraduate labor union contract in US history. Solidarity Forever!

The contract is a historic win for the Union. Highlights include: 1. A base wage of $13.50 an hour (a $5.25 increase from when bargaining began) 2. Just Cause for all student workers 3. A grievance procedure for all students (with a third party arbitrator)

After almost 1.5 years of bargaining, we have come to a tentative agreement on a contract with the College! This contract would be the first wall-to-wall undergraduate contract in US history if passed!

This represents countless hours of negotiations that resulted in a contract that will meet the needs of all student workers. All Union members were sent an email with the full contract and voting information on the contract!
