So guys, today let me explain $QNT the overall data and what I think could be the next move.
A few days ago, open interest was only around $4M–$10M, but now it has jumped close to $160M At that time, the price was around $49.
If you look at the chart, the price was still very low while open interest was increasing like crazy. Even now, OI is still holding strong.
Because of that, I don’t think $QNT is ready to drop yet.
Most people haven’t started heavily shorting it yet. I think once the price gets closer to the previous highs, more traders will start opening shorts and that could be where things get interesting.
The market cap is around $3.2B
So if you’re planning to short $QNT right now, I wouldn’t rush into it. Even if you don’t want to go long, staying away for now might be better than forcing a trade.
For now, I think it could move higher first, and after that we might see a very aggressive crash maybe toward $30, $20, or even $10. Nobody knows exactly.
