Córdoba, Argentina joined @UNDPSPC, @WHRIK2009 and @PNUDArgentina in Seoul from 29 Sep to 1 Oct for an exchange on survivor-centred responses to tech-facilitated GBV. Through our #SDGPartnership supported by @MOFA_KR, the delegation explored how survivor support, technology and institutional coordination can work together in practice, taking insights back to strengthen Córdoba’s response to #TFGBV 🤝

Dr. Heriberto Tapia of UNDP’s Human Development Report Office (@HDRUNDP) visited the Republic of Korea to discuss how AI is shaping human development. At Korea University, he explored how AI is affecting human agency, well-being, jobs and opportunities, while highlighting the importance of public discussion to connect AI development with Human development.

One million tonnes is a milestone. But in #Gaza, it also puts the scale of what remains into perspective. @UNDP is working alongside the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, through the Debris Management Working Group, to advance coordinated debris removal across Gaza. With support from Japan, Norway, the Republic of Korea, the European Union and Germany through KfW, this work is helping reopen access to neighbourhoods, homes and essential services. The scale ahead is immense. Sustaining and expanding debris removal is critical to creating the conditions for early recovery.

At #KoreaSocialValueFesta2026, @HDRUNDP’s Dr. Heriberto Tapia explored new ways to measure development #BeyondGDP, centring people’s wellbeing, capabilities & agency in an age of AI, for future generations who will live into the 22nd century.

People-centred access to law is a pathway to stronger institutions and public trust. @UNDPSPC Director Anne Juepner shared this message in her keynote at the 14th Asian Legislative Experts Symposium, hosted by Korea’s Ministry of Government Legislation (@Molegtwit). USPC and MOLEG will work together to advance this vision.

In my meeting with @MOFAkr_eng Dy Min HE Wook-jin Chang, I thanked 🇰🇷 for its strong partnership with @UNDP. We reflected on the success of our #REVIVE initiative and how we can bring the private sector to drive the recovery and dev process, learning from ROK’s own experiences.

At the 2026 Sinchon World Youth Festival, @UNDP Student Ambassadors brought the SDGs closer to the Korean community. Through SDG-themed games, a 2030 message wall, a photo booth and an “Ask UNDP” wall, the ambassadors invited visitors to explore the goals and reflect on how they connect to everyday life.

.@natboucly, @UNRWA Deputy Commissioner-General for Programmes and Partnerships, visited @UNDPSPC on 11 September. During her visit, she met with USPC colleagues and exchanged perspectives on the connections between humanitarian assistance and development cooperation.
