I join our University and our nation in remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001. Twenty-five years later, we continue to honor the bravery of first responders, the sacrifices of countless individuals and the enduring resilience of the American spirit. As we remember those we lost, may we also reflect on the values of service, unity and hope that continue to guide us forward. We will never forget.

The Nevada Seismological Laboratory at the @unevadareno has received funding from Congress to develop a plan to bring ShakeAlert earthquake early warning to Nevada, the third most seismically active state. bit.ly/4iLTFXW

Sixty-six Clark County School District (CCSD) schools are being honored by the University of Nevada, Reno's Nevada Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Technical Assistance Center for promoting positive student behavior. CCSD saw a significant jump in recognized schools this year, climbing from 41 in 2025 to 66 in 2026. Read the full press release here: weareccsd.net/4cru7eS
