We don't know why people on this earth are presented a death sentence of a horrible disease or why this person lives or another dies but we know that God is our ultimate King and he loves us just as that king loved his own daughter and wanted to protect her in this story. He's protecting you because you're his daughter because he sent his only Son, Jesus to die for us so we can be with Jesus in heaven forever.
