UW alumnus Alfredo Arreguín, a Mexican-American painter, is known for his intricate “pattern paintings” that blend vibrant aspects of Mexican culture, the Pacific Northwest, and nature. He earned his bachelor's degree in 1967 and MFA in 1969.
