ALT Today's 'Where in Scotland' image. It is a squarish image showing a view along a single-track causeway with raised stone edges and a glimpse of sea on the right-hand side. At the far end of the causeway is a rough hillside with a quarry cut into it. The scene is in sunlight.

The gaunt ruins of Fast Castle, clinging grimly to cliffs overlooking the North Sea north-west of St Abbs in the Scottish Borders. A castle was first recorded here in 1333, though the site may have been fortified for centuries by then. More pics and info: undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/c…
ALT The gaunt ruins of Fast Castle. The image shows a view of a rocky outcrop from the edge of a cliff. It is accessed by a concrete bridge in the bottom centre of the frame, with rusty chain handrails on either side. Standing on the outcrop are the fragmentary remains of some stone structures. The blue sea wraps around in the background. The scene is in sunlight.
Can somewhere be loved to death? ‘Bridge of Sighs’ is a fast-paced new murder mystery set in Edinburgh and northern Scotland. Kinlochbervie is visited by the central characters as they pursue their hunt for a murderer.

ALT The image shows part of a harbour, with a quay in the middle right and part of a building on it. A dozen or so small boats and yachts are moored at pontoons beside the quay or extending across the centre of the frame. The water in the foreground is very smooth and reflects the boats and quay. Beyond, a line of rocky low hills crosses the frame, beyond more water. The scene is in sunlight. The front cover of ‘Bridge of Sighs’ is shown in the top right corner.
A wee film about our latest discovery…Rob Roy’s gravestone is a reused Pictish Period Cross! We need £1000 to analyse it.. can you help? buy.stripe.com/eVq8wQ3uM6Ph0…
The superb glass encased Shandwick Stone, standing in a magnificent location overlooking the sea near Shandwick in Easter Ross. This 2.7m high Pictish cross slab dates back to the 800s and occupies its original position. More pics and info: undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/b…
ALT The superb glass encased Shandwick Stone. The image shows a diagonal view of a large glass box wrapped around light blue-grey internal metal supports. This largely fills the left-hand two thirds of the frame. Inside it is a large Pictish carved stone with one highly decorated face visible. A fence surrounds the box and in the background the ground slopes away to the sea which is visible in the middle right of the frame. The scene is in sunlight.
Congratulations to DandyDon @DandyDon15 for being the first to identify this as St Monans in Fife and thanks to everyone who took part. The wider view can be seen on this page: undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/s…

ALT Today's 'Where in Scotland' image. It is a squarish image showing a view over a harbour to a large concrete slipway that slopes down from left to right and has many small boats on trailers on its upper part. Beyond is a tightly packed collection of buildings in white or light blue, many with red tile roofs. The scene is in sunlight.
Here's your second #mysteryphoto of the week (no. 448 in the series). If you recognise this building, which looks fairly recently completed in this photograph, please get in touch. Thank you!
