I'm glad you asked! It used to be time consuming and difficult to distinguish them back a cycle ago. But now, we have LLMs 🤖 Before allocating capital to a token, do the following: 1️⃣ On your favourite LLM, run the following analysis: "I want to find out if token XYZ is a good investment or a good trade. Tell me about: - The narrative/category the token belongs to (is it trending on X?) - The activity and adoption (Is it real? Any onchain evidence?) - The utility of the token (any buybacks mechanims?) - The tokenomics (Any cliffs? Is the token fully diluted?) - Compare the token with other peers in terms of valuation." The above prompt should help you build a case on some basic fundamentals. The bottom line is to help you distinguish momentum trades from durable investments that are back by product market fit and recurring economic value. 2️⃣ Next step, learn the basis of Technical Analysis. TA is especially great at one thing: to identify good potential entries and exits. It also helps you understand broad price movements. RSI, Moving Averages and Fibonacci retracements are the 3 indicators I would first learn to master. It will genuinely help you (it sure did for me!) LLMs are amazing at teaching you how to use them. You don't need to buy online courses. as well to learn how to reach a chart. Good luck!

The rest of the day was fantastic. Lunch with the CEO of a Swiss crypto exchange operating across Europe. More than 1 million real, KYC-verified users — not just registered accounts that many other exchanges like to boast about. More than 450 tokens traded on the exchange and over CHF 1 billion in assets. Most importantly, the exchange holds a MiCA license, which means it is moving in the right direction and has enormous potential across the European market.
