How to become a high value man by end of 2025. Before December comes, this thread will guide you to prepare yourself in identifying your values, prioritising them in a hierarchical structure, orient yourself on a path of least resistance and start making sacrifices to obtain them, transforming you into a man of value. Write down your values. For a man, your apex value should be abundance. You must attain it, or at least be on a path that will lead to its attainment. If you are too distracted in your pursuit of women and indulgences, stop reading here. What does it mean to attain your apex value on a path of least resistance? It means you will orient yourself in a strategic manner that will lessen as many obstacles in your way of attaining your value. Your choices & time allocation will be devoted to this value. This means to count your moves. To make moves in the form of sacrifices, strictly related to your apex value. Moves that negotiate with the future and force your apex value to come to you. Count each one, & stay on the path. You will achieve abundance in two ways; 1. Leverage Competence 2. Begin your own start up To leverage competence, you will first need to take stock of your current job description, pinpoint what you’re expected to do & what you get paid for. Then, you will seek to deliver your job description at an exceptional level. You will leave no room for negligence or incompetence. You will not worry about recognition, and aim to perfect what you are required to do. When ready, you will leverage your perfection, to uptake more responsibility+authority, not money. You will negotiate that you currently do ABC for X amount, but you are willing to do ABCDE for 2 months, and if you deliver, you will rightfully request positional ascendency. When you become exceptional in your line of work, you create specific-knowledge-like asymmetry. Any asymmetry you create in your favour, can be leveraged. Exchange the value you generate easily, for the value you want. When I worked as a pharmacist, I dispensed at 30 seconds per medication, when others took 10min. I leveraged this to reduce staff, then leveraged to implement systems for cost efficiency, which made me a manager, & leveraged for corporate. Study the scenario, find the leverage. While you exercise this, you will record, print weekly reports of every sale, every profit, every satisfied customer under your name and construct an impeccable CV. So when the bosses don’t play nice, you can leverage this as a threat. If you are successful in your promotion, repeat the process. Find leverage in your new found responsibilities. You are not pursuing more money. You are pursuing more responsibility and authority. Money will come after. Leverage competence for positional power. Your competence in your job should be part of the system. You do not want your competence to self-automate in your absence. You want to become so good at what you do, that the business falls apart without you. Generate reliance to cement your leverage. Avoid redundancy. Option 2 is start up. If you want to start your own business, in my opinion it is a brutal path to take. Have a stable job before taking the risk in going for a startup. You must maintain a stable income stream for this option. You are not an entrepreneur if you are not making weekly progress. If you want to start your own business, you must have a clear deadline for weekly action & progress. Investors check progress, worth ethic & personality before investing. Your journey to abundance will kill off so many undesirable parts of you, that you will inevitably transform who you are. You’ll be forced to become strategic, think ahead, be cunning and ambitious. A force to contend with. If you don’t become disagreeable in your quest for abundance, you are not devoting enough time for your apex value: -you come first -competitive -less social -assertive -insubordinate -value driven -time conscious unconcerned for anything petty & frivolous. These qualities developed as a side effect in your path to abundance, are the traits that make you attractive. Combine this with your capacity to provide, your accountability & competence, it makes you a high value man. Your aim before December 1. Acknowledge apex value as abundance 2. Plan on how you’ll leverage it once excelled By 2024, you should have improved your current position and developed, -Responsibility -Confidence -Authority -Credibility -Leadership -Disagreeableness Don’t stop. You’re set to dominate 2024. The lesson in this article is to understand leverage. When you become exceptionally competent in one domain, you can leverage it on the dominance hierarchy and ultimately increase your value. This lesson can be applied to many contexts.

Mastery over a craft is extremely hard because it forces you to choose between pleasure and excitement, and embarrassment and excruciating boredom. For a period, it turns life into a mundane ritual of repetition, correction, humiliation, and boredom which is rarely glamorous, and comes at the cost of your pride. It forces an evolution of character but for it take effect your ego and pride must take a hit.

In corporate: gratitude will never preserve an alliance. Gratitude eventually fades, needs change, new incentives come up, altered conditions, in some cases people resent the person who helped if it reminds them of their weakness. Build alliances based on current incentives, mutual collaborations, shared risk, or best of all collateral damage.

There are two sides to ambition; one that puts you in cycle of improvement, producing work, upgrading skills and chasing achievements. Other that sends you in perpetual cycle of comparison, competition, vanity and endless dissatisfaction. Both are necessary: when you learn to combine that is when you will be able outcompete everyone while upgrading yourself at an exceptional pace.

Just by metrics, you will meet a lot of ungrateful people through your life. Do not let them train generosity out of you. Sometimes, you will be poorly rewarded for doing good, do not let it hinder your world view. The lesson is not to turn cold, but be a better judge of character and invest with discrimination. Improve your judgement rather than degrading your character.

Keep your wins a secret, or downgrade them. Most people are extremely envious. They do not see the extent of your efforts only the rewards of it. They begin to think you have it easy, or you were lucky. They slowly begin to poison your head by letting their insecurity become the architect of your ambition; passing subtle remarks to break your psyche, branding your self-belief as arrogance, and asking you to be humble.

Think too little and you are fool with an impulse. Think too much and you are paralysed by the analysis. Either way failure becomes imminent. A balance point is necessary between thought and actions.

The smarter you are the more of a loser you will be. To be gifted with an intellect that can comprehend complex problems at a greater speed and reach, also means to be cursed with the capability to generate enough sophisticated possibilities that will make you surrender real opportunities to hypothetical dangers. Your imagination dominates your judgement and paralyzes your action.

If you so ever wish to criticise someone, limit it to what they actually did. You refrain from personal attacks that include their self-image, family, profession, or background just to increase the intensity of your insult. People remember humiliation long enough for it to appear with unnecessary headaches.

Chase mastery, but not in pursuit of something that has little consequence. It is not enough to be excellent. The object of your excellence matters equally. Aim to become skilled at something that gains you wealth, status, or connections. Choose an apex value where depth is rewarded equally or exponentially.

In game theory: When predicting someone's move don't just speculate what a rational person would do, also question what this specific person would do. What behaviour have they repeatedly executed in the past? What triggers them? What makes them cooperate? What incentives could change their strategy? You improve the scope of your strategy by speculating the ideal player as well as the actual player.

Manufacture goodwill. It comes at the cost of nothing; you just have to be kind, helpful, talk to people like a decent human being and treat them with equal courtesy. This appears as social credit in times of crisis than cannot be manufactured overnight. Generosity demanded only when you need support appears transactional at best and is frequently refused.

Theoretical understanding of something and usable knowledge of it are two distinct things. You can have a good understanding of how human nature, negotiations, judgement or leadership works yet still fail to apply when you are exposed to intense pressure and emotions.

This is a hostage situation. If the system can compromise you this quickly, you aren't irreplaceable and at the mercy of those above you.

Be intentional about your friendships, I am not a great fan of you should make friends naturally, rather you should intentionally put yourself in environments depending on the kind of friends you want to make. I graduated from one of the most prestigious colleges in the country - there was period in my life where I had absolutely lost everything, however, a few calls to my friends and I had 6 opportunities lined up for a new venture.

If you want to become irreplaceable, spend a brief amount of time in figuring out what you are naturally talented. Then spend whatever time you have in becoming better than good in every domain of correlates with your talent. This will give you disproportionate results as you will be able to combine your talents in multiple creative ways.

Win or lose your life will be a relentless war; If you are low status you will be spiritually tortured by your failure, If you are high status you will have to endlessly fight to maintain your position.

People can love you and still envy you, this is something I learned the hard way. I say this with experience, people who barely know you will admire you for your achievements, however, people who you cross paths on a daily-basis you will find faults in you. For them, your progress is something to be proud of you but at the same time a constant reminder of their to be insecure about themselves. Contradictory emotions can co-exist at the same time.

The easier version of self-control is resisting temptation. The harder version is learning controlled restraint. Wrath, Envy, Greed, Lust, Gluttony, Pride and Sloth, rather than controlling the expression of your temptation. You master them. You channelize and deploy them in a controlled manner. Greed for long-term actualisation of your purpose. Envy to motivate you. Wrath to out-compete others. This is how you use your demons to do your bidding.
