CRAY WANDERERS REUNITES US Football is about so much more than 90 minutes. Ahead of Sunday’s historic FA Cup tie, lifelong Wands supporter Mick Dumville shared this wonderful story of how Cray Wanderers reunited him with childhood friends Denis Wright and John Dalton after more than 70 years. “Three old boys from Uplands Road Orpington reunited when I (Mick on the left) went to the first game at Flamingo Park and my photo was spotted on Facebook by (Den in the middle) who asked if I was the lad who had been friends with him in the 1950’s and used to go to the Wands first at Fordcroft 2 then Grassmead with my Dad. We spoke and arranged to meet at the next home game and spent most of it reminiscing over 70 odd missing years, he then contacted (John on the right) who lived opposite as a lad and was also a Wands supporter, we are now season ticket holders, and are looking forward to an Historic Cup Tie on Sunday” Over 70 years later, the Wands are still bringing people together. #COYW | #EmiratesFACup
