🚨 DNC update: to friends and voters who wrote to me urging me to vote against the DNC Rules & Bylaws Committee’s proposed BAN on ranked choice voting in presidential primaries: the Chair removed the PUBLIC Rules & Bylaws committee meeting that had been set for next Thursday, opting instead for a PRIVATE closed door dinner. As a member of the DNC Executive Committee, I cannot over-stress my disappointment in turning an open debate into a closed door session. I will take the fight for ranked choice voting to the Executive Committee and will join in the floor fight on Saturday as these are the only options available. We need radical transparency to restore trust. This ain’t it!
