He insisted on talking to his heavenly Father much as he would talk to Joseph, his earthly father. Post 93 Baby Jesus Escapes Herod’s Massacre of 16 Baby Boys After more than a year of searching, Herod’s spies still had not found the infant “King of the Jews” and suspecting the child was hidden in Bethlehem, he ordered every house searched, and every boy under two years of age killed. Sixteen baby boys perished that night. This massacre occurred in mid-October, 6 BC, when Jesus was a little over one year old. A believer inside Herod’s court learned of this order and warned Zacharias, who warned Joseph, and that same night, Joseph, Mary, and baby Jesus, fled to Alexandria in Egypt. Post 91 “Father Forgive Them for They Know Not What They Do” Jesus’ only words, as they nailed him to the crossbeam were, “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Humanity did not realize that Jesus was a Paradise Creator Son who had incarnated as a perfect mortal. He walked the halls of Paradise with God before coming to establish life in this sector of the Superuniverse about 400 billion years ago. He came to reveal God to humanity. Post 90 Jesus and the Woman Caught in Adultery When the hired agents of the Sanhedrin brought the woman caught in adultery before Jesus, they thought they could trap him. If he upheld the law of Moses, Rome would move against him; if refused to stone her, he would break the law of Moses. How does Jesus respond? He simply writes in the sand and her accusers silently disappear, one at a time. He outwits their trap, while showing mercy to the woman by saving her life. Post 84 – The Soul Is the Embryo of Your Spiritual Being Just as the caterpillar evolves into the butterfly and the tadpole into the frog, the human soul evolves into a spiritual being. But unlike the evolution of the caterpillar and the tadpole, the mortal soul grows only through the decisions of the mind. Altruistic decisions nourish the growth of the soul, while selfish decisions hinder it. As the soul grows, it bears the Fruits of the Spirit, but when soul growth is neglected, loneliness and sorrow often follow.
