Now published in Practical Radiation Oncology: @ASTRO_org's first clinical practice guideline on radiation therapy for bladder cancer! The guideline supports trimodal therapy as a curative, bladder-preserving option for appropriately selected patients with muscle-invasive bladder cancer and clarifies radiation’s role after surgery and in advanced disease. Multidisciplinary care and shared decision-making are central throughout. It was a privilege to co-chair this effort with Leslie Ballas and work with an exceptional multidisciplinary task force, our patient representative, and ASTRO staff.
