The #GospelOfTheDay is a call to conversion, both tender and urgent. God wants us to live, to open our eyes, and return to Him. To repent is to leave the paths on which we lost our way, and to follow the Way of Life, opening our hearts to the sole joy that never fades.

Jesus tells us to let our ‘Yes’ mean ‘Yes,’ and our ‘No’ mean ‘No.” Keep your promises to the Lord. Living in such a way leads to spiritual growth and keeps us on the right path. Be who you say you are. Pray for the grace to live today and always with such integrity.

Jesus Christ, through His Incarnation, comes to meet every person in the midst of their own story, and reveals Himself as the true source of living water capable of quenching our thirst. This thirst that dwells in every human heart is not so much a thirst for material things, but a thirst for meaning, truth, and fulfilment. Happy Birthday!

The Gospels often mention Jesus “praying in solitude.” What a perfect reminder for us. We need time daily to be alone with God. In that moment, we find peace, consolation, enlightenment, and the grace to carry out our work. Seek that place today where it is just you and the Lord!

Trust your intuition to Christ. God is calling our love to be near him. Holy Spirit opens your heart to Truth.

Jesus tells us to “travel lightly” and to let go of earthly things that weigh us down. St Paul says: “Have no anxiety at all.” Padre Pio tells us that “to worry is useless.” If we follow the guidance provided and entrust ourselves to the Lord, we will have a peaceful day!

Jesus calls us to listen, to act, and to live faithfully. Thus, we are to follow his commands without compromise, in a consistent manner, and no matter the cost. His expectations come with a promise: “Blessed are those who hear the Word of God and observe it.”

Others looked at Matthew and saw a sinner and tax collector. But, Jesus looked at him through the eyes of mercy and saw a beloved son and said: “Follow me.” Jesus sees us through those same eyes and calls us to be his disciples. Like Matthew, may we say “yes” and follow the Lord.

Jesus turned “upside down” the values of this world and said in his kingdom “the last will be first and the first will be last.” Do not seek earthly recognition, rewards, and honors. Keep your eyes fixed above and on what truly matters in the sight of God. First things first!
