Some arsehole hector tried similar to me the other week after my train was cancelled and I jumped the next one. He was having none of it, threatening BTP etc. Had already submitted my delay repay so got that back and then kicked up a right fuss with LNER and TPE over being
Charged £86.10 because @thetrainline falsely flagged my 07:00 train as Cancelled! Boarded the next train in good faith, only to get stung with a full-fare ticket while the app still showed cancelled at 07:44.

Charged incorrectly when they’ve got ticket acceptance in place if a train is cancelled. They both ended up refunding me the ticket I was forced to buy. Desperate to bump into the cunt again so I can tell him I made a free 40 quid from not doing his job right.

🚨 #MCFC Former City star says news of the club's sham contracts has made his life HELL. The 39-year old, who asked not be identified, said, "I played 73 times for City but when I walk down the street people just look at me in disgust. It's tarnished my career." [@dailystar]

@etihad Questions following your press release on, and threat of legal action over, “The Premier League's public communication of the [Independent] commission's findings”. 1) Documentary evidence of “the Disguised Funding Scheme” which the IC found Etihad to be a part of has been in the public domain since 2018. The Premier League charged Manchester City in 2023. Those charges were not heard until late 2024. As City's most prominent sponsor why did you not ask the club to be a witness at the IC? 2) What is the total quantum of Etihad's sponsorship deals with Manchester City since the airline entered its first commercial deal with the club ? Is it over £800million? 3) Is Etihad's position that all of the Etihad sponsorship income that Manchester City declared to the Premier League and UEFA was paid to City directly and entirely out of Etihad’s own funds? And that not a single penny came from Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, ADUG or any Abu Dhabi government entity? 3) The IC states that Manchester City claimed “that AD Sponsors had from time to time applied for financial assistance from the AD Government towards their liability to pay the Recorded Sponsorship Fees. Such applications had been granted, and financial assistance had been provided to the AD Sponsors by the AD Government via the CPC. In each case the level of financial assistance provided by the AD Government to the relevant Sponsor had been in the amount that the PL wrongly contended represented a Tagged Sum from ADUG.” Is it true that some of Etihad's sponsorship payments were funded by the Abu Dhabi Government via the Crown Prince's Court (CPC)? 4) If so, why did Etihad’s CEO testify to CAS as follows? ‘Neither [Mansour], nor his private investment vehicle ADUG, nor any entity on their behalf, has funded or reimbursed the sponsorship obligations of Etihad under the sponsorship agreements. The sponsorship obligations were paid out of Etihad’s own funds as described above. I was PCEO throughout the relevant period and I would have known if any arrangement had existed for the funding or reimbursement of the sponsorship fees paid by Etihad to MCFC, as alleged by UEFA, which I did not.' 5) Why did Etihad make the following submission to the US Government in 2015? ‘The assertion that the Abu Dhabi government paid for Etihad’s sponsorship of English Premier League football club Manchester City is equally false.’ 6) Is Etihad’s objection to the published findings of the IC? Or is to the testimony and arguments made to the IC by your long-term commercial partners and/or your owners?

Here we go again... Remember the wave of restrictions slapped on Season Ticket holders over the summer? The club is now targeting Official Members. They aren't even calling it "suspicious activity" anymore; they’ve rebadged it as "activity that requires further review." We all want touting tackled, but dropping restriction emails on a Monday at 18:00 with a deadline of Wednesday at 08:00 gives fans barely 38 hours, effectively one single working day to respond. This is completely unacceptable for innocent supporters. One fan who contacted me is travelling all the way from Spain and now has no idea if his ticket for Saturday will even work at the turnstiles. If United are taking this heavy-handed approach, their detection needs to be bulletproof. We all know how flawed the club's data matching can be, yet they clearly haven't learned from summer's mistakes. Worse still, this directly violates the club's own published Club Sanctions and Appeals Policy, which contractually guarantees supporters a fair 14-day window to appeal any initial sanction decision. Slashing a two-week policy down to one working day is a blatant failure of due process and breaches the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which protects paying consumers from unfair terms and one-sided ultimatums. The club cannot bypass its own written rules simply because a fixture falls within that 14-day window. If you’ve been hit with one of these emails, submit a response before the Wednesday 08:00 deadline so your ticket isn't automatically cancelled for Saturday, but state clearly in writing that you are replying strictly under protest and duress, reserve your full 14-day right to reply, and will escalate any wrongful cancellation to the Independent Football Ombudsman. The Sanctions process is broken, United are unfairly treating supporters, and they need reporting. You can do this through any or all of the following: Independent Football Ombudsman (@TheIFO): For direct breach of their own published 14-day sanctions policy and lack of procedural fairness. Citizens Advice / Trading Standards: Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for unfair commercial practices and unreasonable deadlines on paying customers. The FSA (@WeAreTheFSA): Log your case with the Football Supporters' Association, they are collecting evidence on unfair club sanction regimes. Information Commissioner's Office (@ICOnews): If they use vague digital tracking/profiling and refuse to provide your data under a Subject Access Request (SAR). If you are a member who has received one of these restriction emails, please get in touch. The way you treat us is a disgrace.

Just seen a TikTok of someone from the Manchester half & she’s walking less than 3km in (hasn’t bothered her arse to train for it). I’m all for people having goals and being optimistic but what is the point in signing yourself up to something you’re clearly not capable of doing?

Having left a second-tier club in administration after repeatedly struggling to pay wages, a situation driven at least in part by wage inflation in the PL, you'd think someone would be against unlimited funds being pumped in But that wouldn't play to the gallery would it

Anyone who has Ralph Lauren in ‘F tier’ isn’t worth paying attention to😂 Not to mention they’ve listed a bunch of fast fashion shite as actual recommendations.
S: Mango A: Massimo Dutti, COS B: Bershka, Zara, Uniqlo C: Pull & Bear, H&M D: ARKET (good essentials and cut but overpriced for quality) F: Stone Island, Lacoste, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger (genuinely ugly pieces with that goofy ass logo, insecure final boss)
