I tend to not know how to seek for funds from people, especially our people when it comes to creative projects and academic projects, not because of anything than the fact that I am not fit to preach or convince anyone that preservation of language, history and culture matters. All they care about is their personal income, so any department where staff costs take up almost 40% of their income could face major cuts. Their ownership structure is also different from Barcelona. Barca Socio vote for the president, while at Man United, the owners remain in control as long as they decide not to sell. If things continue like this, in five years, Man utd fans could become used to Europa League football in their best seasons or simply watching their club play in the Premier League every year.
