Miles Coleman and Drew Mestemaker went to the same high school. And, in many ways, Miles is THE reason Mestemaker is at OSU right now. He point-blank told his coaches at UNT that they needed to take Mestemaker. They did, as a 5th-string depth piece, and the rest is history. Proof that real life is better than fiction because you can't make this stuff up. Also, the coaches were recruiting Chris Barnes at UNT and would have taken Barnes, but he decommitted, and that opened up the spot for Coleman. Full circle. Now ALL of them are on the same team, and we're DURNED happy about that. Coleman does SO MANY things! He returns kicks, he runs a lot of the motions, he's a huge part of the screen game, and he's also used to stretch the field. He's explosive, so he definitely sticks out, but, TBH, the totality of what he does for this team is VERY underrated. Great player, elite human and everything that goes with that.
