$231M is accurate but it's a small slice of total dilution. Even including it, TBV/share rose $5.97→$7.34 (+23%) since Sept 2025 — coz 2025 raises priced well above book value, not because of comp. And the 2026 converts settle in cash, not shares, at Oct maturity. Hope it helps

My issue is that the OP is so ignorant of what he's posting that he neither understands why the dilution was done nor understands the market conditions that would have the company undoing the dilution. I mean, what kinda silly is it to push a dilution thesis given what the current situation is?

You old hag 😂 Outstanding shares went from 1.0965B to 1.2916B. That’s around 195M more shares, almost 18%. The 2025 offerings alone added around 140.5M shares, plus about $262M in SBC. And your answer is “but TBV per share went up” 😂 So what? TBV can go up while existing shareholders are still getting diluted. One does not cancel the other More shares = smaller ownership percentage. Simple. So either you two genuinely don’t understand the difference, or you’re deliberately mixing concepts to muddy the argument. And Madhav jumping in with TBV doesn’t change those numbers. Book value comes from retained earnings and paid in capital . So why again did they want the paid in capital and what is the current market environment? Also, just so you know there’s no hard feelings and I’m happy to help you grow your understanding of financials… what is the most likely thing you’d do if your BV growth dominated by retained earnings exceeds what you see you’d like to deploy capital on? And how - for a bank- does that change as rates increase. Understand now?
