When I’m enjoying a great CFP game between 2 good head coaches and 2 fantastic college QBs but then I find out the TV ratings are only 6.5 instead of 8.0😭😭

ALT Anger Rage GIF

College football parity is great until we get USF vs Georgia Tech in the 1st round and nobody watches Tell me I'm wrong and tell me I'm an elitist but the ratings won't lie

This may be the craziest response UH had a 17 pt comeback, scored 27 straight BYU had a rainy grudge match vs TCU who took them to the brink ISU upset WVU in a shootout Baylor upset ASU off a bye in a dominant fashion Zona destroyed Cincy There’s so much to talk about lol

What exactly do you expect him to talk about from this slate of games? UK-SC was entertaining because UK came back from down 17-0, won on the last play, and Beamer will likely now get fired. Lots to talk about. Wtf is there to say about these Big 12 games? It's less interesting.

I want to give Baylor their kudos this past week. Maroon Out for Arizona State, lots of juice for them as they were coming off a bye and…..Baylor just smoked them. All of a sudden if Baylor gets past TCU Saturday, they should be 6-0 when they go to to Provo

Me: “I wish this College Football Show talked about College Football and not just 2 conferences” Random twitter people he doesn’t know but for some reason are willing to die for his business model: “You really expect him to cover College Football on a College Football show?!”

Missed Tackles vs Yards After Contact These two have a clear correlation, the average is shown by the trend line. The quadrant names could go a couple of ways, so don’t get too invested in them, but there are a couple of clear winners on this chart. #NFLDraft | @NFLDraft

Is it actually fun to defend power ratings every single week and have to explain them to viewers every single week on the show? At what point is the juice not worth the squeeze
Replying to @ryan_heinrich
actually the idea of anyone suggesting power ratings is meant to supplement merit-based rankings is the dumbest thing you've seen in a while

Just listened to Pate’s Latest Week 5 College Football Reaction Show. Until the 1 hour and 5 minute mark, The ONLY mention of the Big 12 was that Jeremiah Smith has more yards than BYU has as a team. The episode was 1 hour and 17 minutes long.

I’m not saying the coverage should be identical each week as each week will bring different matchups. It is just telling when the only discussion is if there is a Ranked matchup every couple of weeks. Yet Kentucky/South Carolina gets a deep analysis

My complaint comes down to this: I am a College Football Fan with ties to the Big 12. I tune into a National College Football Reaction show and my entire conference is not mentioned except in passing through an insult stat to BYU’s passing game. Feels like a slap in the face

Mizzou’s 2007 schedule is the reason why Mizzou would dominate the Big 12 in 2026……
In 07 MIZZOU went 3-2 against the modern SEC 2-0 against the modern big 10 5-0 against the modern big12 The big 12 conference isn't the same as it used to be..

I refuse to believe someone just unironically screenshotted Mizzou’s 2007 season results for their reasoning as to what they’d dominate the Big 12 in 2026😂😂😂That can NOT be real

Mizzou was literally IN the Big 12 and never won a Championship. But now that they’re middle of the pack in another conference. THEY COULD DESTROY US IF THEY WANTED TO lol
The SEC bias narrative is hilarious to me. Fans of B12 and ACC teams actually think their teams could survive an SEC schedule. Middle of the pack SEC teams could genuinely win those conferences. Y’all are just in denial.

Just to clarify, a team that has not won a Conference Championship since winning the Big Eight in 1969, is chirping me saying how easy it would be to win a conference ?
