Updates: the site has been taken down.
To those who followed me because of this post, this is where I post fanart occasionally. I wrote this in the middle of the night before an exam and replying to ppl 50% awake so sorry if i didn’t answer properly.
Repost so everyone stays informed:
DO NOT email them
DO NOT sign up
DO NOT give them money for audio books
DO NOT sign up for monetisation of works
DO NOT download
This seems to be a huge data scrape of deleted & available works uploaded to Ao3 only. Just DON'T INTERACT!!

Don't get yourself involved in their 'monetisation programme'. I'm pretty certain Ao3's legal team will represent their authors. Moreover, it's fanwork, you can get into legal trouble because of copyright issues/using a real person's image etc..

Man, I can't wait for the fanfics that are being loaded into a cannon and waiting to be launched into the stratosphere called Ao3 once the site is back up and then the website crashed again because of that.
But one can only dream,

Is @tumblr aware of what happened to their wife
We estimate that service restoration for #AO3 will take around 2 weeks but it could be up to 4 weeks. We are hopeful that we will be able to bring the site back up in a degraded state sooner. Refer to our status page for updates: otwstatus.org/

Discord will soon make public server messages searchable on Google
The feature will be enabled by default for US adults, but users can opt out in their privacy settings
Community note
Discord's update is limited to future messages (mid-Dec 2026+) from public channels in Discoverable Servers only (a subset of ~63k specific public servers with 1k+ members); not all servers or past messages. Users/admins can opt out.

favourite part about K/DA is that everytime someone tweets about K/DA, you have a guaranteed chance of seeing the Kai'sa Voguing clip

Just sacrificed my privacy for Oomfie to get art signed.
Art did not get signed, but I did get him a new follower

I don't think people realise the sheer pain of deciding between a dress or a suit for a singular event that you'd never have again in your life
