To be clear, winning is always the goal. No one here is saying to “lower” expectations for UTRGV. We’re talking about the reality and challenges of being a second-year program, that we are tremendously grateful for.
Some might point to the head coach contract extension to raise expectations. An extension isn’t a guarantee of uninterrupted success.
You can reward early success and acknowledge unfinished development.
Having said all that, let’s go 1-0 this week. V’s up!✌🏼

My WHY 🙌🏼🙏🏼🧡
When I was 17 years old, I failed the first person that ever believed in me… My Dad.
This game came to me at my lowest point and saved my life. It became my purpose and the vessel that carries my WHY…
chasing Dad’s legacy, and at the end when we see each other again, Dad telling me, “Im proud of you.”
So… I’ve given every fabric of my being back to it… And will do so for as long as I am able.
