Helping Indians build & protect generational wealth Strategic Advisor to Startups | Jeweller Your voice against financial mis-selling

You buy insurance thinking your wife & kids are safe. Reality? They might not get a single rupee. Unless you use this 150 year old law that makes the payout 100% untouchable

I am flying to Dubai and I am funding the entire trip using my X payout. This is a pure business bet. I want to meet new people, explore export opportunities, meet VCs there. My wife wanted to come but I said no because with her there it becomes a holiday. This is the hardest no I have said this year. Worst case scenario is I burn the payout and return home exactly as average as I left. Best case scenario is one conversation changes the next few years. If you are building in Dubai, DM me. Let’s grab a coffee.

Cashless health insurance is legally sanctioned house arrest. The doctor officially discharges you at 9 AM. You are fully recovered, your bags are packed and your family is ready to take you home. Then the hospital administration steps in: "Sir, the insurance TPA approval is pending. Please remain seated in your room until we receive the final payment." You then spend the next 8 to 12 hours held hostage in a ₹15,000-a-day hospital room. You are no longer a patient but you are collateral. The hospital doesn't trust the insurance company to actually pay, the insurer is deliberately stalling to find a typo in your medical history to reject the claim and you are stuck in the middle of a corporate standoff. We live in a country where UPI settles transactions in 300 milliseconds and automated trading algorithms move crores in a microsecond. The system is designed to exhaust you. They want you so frustrated and desperate to go home that the next time you get sick, you just pay the cash upfront and file for a reimbursement which they will conveniently reject 45 days later citing "insufficient documentation." If my policy is active and the hospital is in-network, the final discharge should be an instant and automated API settlement. Man I paid insurance company for this service. Until we force insurers to adopt automated clearing, stop calling it a cashless facility. Call it what it actually is: an extortion racket with a waiting room.

What if it goes bad? If it goes bad, we get a normal job, save money and try again. The worst case scenario is an average life. Please start and do not delay.

Why do I receive 14 spam calls when my bank balance is 10 lakh and 0 call when my bank balance is 5000? Some bank employees are actively operating as unregulated lead generation agencies for the entire spam ecosystem. Thats how 14 different random telecallers know your name, your net worth and want to sell you loans and insurance. Look at the humiliating reality of banking privacy: 1. You trust a reputed bank with your life savings but a 23 year old junior clerk making ₹25,000 a month has unrestricted access to your exact net worth, home address and transaction history. 2. There is zero systemic friction. They do not need your permission, a valid reason or an active ticket to look into your ledger. They just type your name into the system. 3. The moment your liquid balance crosses a certain threshold, your financial profile can be sold in bulk on WhatsApp and Telegram groups to third party insurance agents, car dealerships and scammers for a few hundred rupees. Why is any random bank employee legally allowed to browse a customer's personal financial data like a public catalog? If an employee wants to open your profile, check your balance or view your address, it should systemically trigger an OTP to your phone. Period. Unless it is your assigned RM or the Branch Manager handling a direct request, they have zero business looking at your net worth. Your financial privacy can be sold for a ₹500 cut by a bored clerk on his lunch break.

Indian jewellers are glorified metal traders wasting the greatest handcrafting talent on earth. They boast of a generations old legacy but the global math tells a humiliating story. India manufactures 5x more gold jewellery than Italy. Yet Italy earns a far bigger jewellery trade surplus: $14.5 billion vs our $9.9 billion. We have the most specialized karigars on the planet and centuries of mastery in meenakari, polki, kundan, nakashi and chitrai. The artisanal heritage European luxury houses would kill for. Why isn’t Indian jewellery dominating global exports? Because of an obsession with raw volume over intellectual property and brand building. We use master karigars to pump out bulk domestic volume and reduce centuries of art to a commodity calculation. Italy does a fraction of the physical work, focuses on design, packaging and brand equity and exports a premium lifestyle with a little gold attached. They sell aspiration. We sell the spot price of metal plus a 10% making charge. We have the talent to build global heritage brands but we sit in AC showrooms fighting local customers over 0% making charge schemes. Until we export our design instead of just our metal, we will remain the lowest paid workers in the global luxury economy.

Finished HYROX in 2:06:55 24 minutes faster than last time. During the wall balls I was completely exhausted. A judge I had never met kept saying, Sir, 10 more. 10 more. At the end: Sir, you’re not exhausted yet. 5 more. Let’s do 5-5 reps. We can do this. We. She had nothing to gain from my finish. That’s what ₹10,000 buys: strangers who refuse to let you quit. A stranger with nothing to gain. If this ever reaches you, thank you. Few understand this.
Starting tomorrow thousands of fragile AC cabin executives will pay ₹10,000 to do the same physical labor a daily wager does for ₹500 but in a AC Cabin. This is a Monetized Suffering. Few understand this…

The most profitable coffee shop in Ahmedabad sells unlimited coffee and snacks for free. They sell haircuts as a service. It’s a Starbucks that happens to cut hair. It’s a salon. They offer unlimited artisanal coffee and snacks as premium hospitality. The place is packed. This business model is called Margin Camouflage. The founder knows Indian consumers will hesitate to pay ₹2,000 just for a 20 minute haircut. But they will happily pay ₹2,000 for the ego stroke of sitting in a luxury lounge getting served unlimited lattes by someone in a uniform and posting it on their Instagram story. They are in the business of monetizing middle class aspirations. This is not a grooming business. They sell you ₹150 worth of coffee and snacks, cut your hair for ₹300 and pocket a massive ₹1,550 net margin just for providing the aesthetic. It is a masterclass in unit economics.

If you earn ₹2 lakhs a month and still lie to your parents about the price of their gifts, your family has an incurable poverty mindset. You buy your mom an iPhone or a laggy Android or take your parents out for a ₹5,000 dinner but instinctively say it cost half just to avoid a 30 minute lecture on wasting money. Our parents built their lives saving ₹1 at a time. Gen Z kids respect the struggle. But dragging that extreme scarcity muscle memory into a completely different economic era is financial self sabotage. You make serious money yet you are still forced to take a 30 hour 3rd AC train instead of a 2 hour flight because your parents insist the destination is the destination. They still think a family pack of ice cream should cost ₹150, and you are terrified to tell them you just spent ₹500 at Naturals. By constantly lying to protect their feelings, you actively validate their trauma. Indian parents need to let go of this extreme scarcity muscle memory and Gen Z needs to stop acting like financial cowards in their own homes. You cannot scale your wealth if your brain is still operating in 1990s survival mode.

A Marwadi grandfather pays ₹7,000 a year to insure 18 family members for ₹1 crore. You pay ₹40,000 for one family and still fight for every claim. He approves his own claim. Nobody outside his community knows this structure 👇🏻

Disclaimer: This is a high risk and high reward structure done by one Marwadi uncle after getting fed up with claim rejections. It worked for him because of discipline and an extraordinary gold run. I myself have regular health insurance for me and my family. Do not copy this strategy. Always buy health insurance from a good advisor.

Takeaways from this thread • Self insure what you can absorb • Buy a super top-up for what you can’t • Start building Emergency Fund asap • Keep a separate cash buffer so you never sell under pressure • One person controls it with Written rules having no exceptions.

When his 10000₹ claim was rejected. He realised he was paying an insurance company every year only to end up fighting that same company on the day he needed them. Why Pay your opponent’s salary and then arguing with him. Has your claim ever been rejected?
