This Labour government ignores the £40.5 billion yearly cost of migration and wants to end the Triple Lock for pensioner's which only costs £600 million yearly. Shameful

In 1997 the Tories bequeathed New Labour: - 3.5% GDP growth - 4.5% wage growth - 4.6% manufacturing output growth - Energy independence and falling energy prices - A brand new nuclear power station (1995) - New reservoirs (1992) - Construction of Manchester airport's second runway - Falling unemployment - London as the world’s leading foreign-exchange centre - A newly opened Channel Tunnel - Debt at just 37% of GDP - On track for a balanced budget Andy Burnham just said that this was failure. Somehow.

Under the guise of “helping people onto the housing ladder”, the government is setting people up for a lifetime of debt and negative equity.

The 2.5% Deposit Trap

There are so many ways to bring down the cost of new build in the UK, chief among them reduced regulation, planning and taxation. So I was most disappointed, putting it mildly, to see Prime Minister

As it applies to just New Builds, this isn't about helping first-time buyers *buy* a home, it's about helping house builders *sell* the home. It's about trying to keep the housing prices propped up.

Curious isn't it when this cunt and his brother did this to a female Police officer they were released from custody within 24 hours and sat back at home on their sofas. Now we see a man charged with criminally damaging a dinghy and he's remanded overnight straight to court the next day. The law can be tough when it wants to be can't it, depending obviously on who you are in Andy Burnhams #TwoTierBritain #DannyTommo

🚨 BREAKING: LEAK EXPOSES CHANCELLOR JOHN HEALEY BRANDING ORDINARY HOMES AS LUXURY MANSIONS I have just pulled the internal Treasury numbers John Healey wanted kept off the front pages. Labour is quietly preparing to slash the mansion tax threshold to 1.5 million pounds, dragging 272,000 properties straight into their fiscal dragnet. That classification instantly drops one in four detached London homes and ordinary three bedroom suburban terraces into the exact same tax bracket as foreign billionaires. Even Labour MP Rachel Blake went on live television in sheer panic because she knows voters will punish them brutally at the ballot box. Now look at the mathematical fraud driving Whitehall. The Treasury admits spending 350 million pounds to enforce this bureaucratic snooper database, all to claw in 400 million pounds in gross receipts. John Healey is bleeding homeowners dry for a pitiful net return of 50 million pounds to feed Andy Burnham's runaway spending addiction. Labour genuinely despises private homeownership and wants to penalize anyone who spent thirty years paying off a mortgage. Retweet this immediately and expose Healey's property heist before your front door gets hit with an unpayable mansion bill. 🇬🇧🔥

BREAKING PM Andy Burnham has announced plans for a new National Centre for Information Defence to improve community cohesion and prevent a "distorted and untrue narrative about Britain". The new centre will draw up expertise and best practice, and ensure the UK has the defensive capability necessary to combat information warfare and build national resilience. Mr Burnham said: "There is no national security without a strong, cohesive society. That’s the starting point for everything we hold dear and everything we want to achieve. But the fact is that it has been under attack. "In recent years we have seen an industrial-scale assault by hostile actors on the information environment in the UK and many of our allies.   "Russian agencies have used every means at their disposal to spread lies and disinformation and prey on people’s fears. They’ve used bots and fake websites. Falsified newspaper articles. "Forged the branding of 28 British organisations – including universities and the BBC. They’ve amplified far right narratives. And we have evidence that they tried to interfere with the 2019 General Election. "We also know that they have tried to stoke tensions and unrest in the wake of horrific events. The idea that anyone would try to use such things to their advantage is just repulsive – but it is what they do." More now at @GBNEWS.

Two things the government is doing right now: 1) Launching a National Centre for Information Defence to battle 'far-Right narratives' and 'distorted and untrue' narratives about Britain. 2) Using legal action to prevent the release of crime data broken down by nationality.

You're fucking joking you fat, idle cunt. We don't need a Ministry of Information, we need a government to solve all the fucking real problems this country has and this isn't one of them.
A British counter disinformation centre is long overdue, and very welcome.

Stumbling across what people on the other side of the pond think, here's a really low-wattage take from some nobody thinking she's a somebody from the world of TV. Sweeny's ad was nothing to do with shaming or objectifying 'women in sport', that wasn't it's objective. It was purely using the female form suggestively to promote betting, predominantly in sport and therefore the background of the content was sports-based. Doesn't make it right but stop wanking yourselves into a coma over an ad that did what it was designed to do - and then some, because you're all still talking about it. A huge PR success for them...
