That's not gameplay, that's just animations. The gameplay is just hammering buttons like in every other game

It's strange... I've been impressed by pretty much everything I've seen of this game, yet with the release just hours away, I still haven't bought it and can't seem to get genuinely excited about it

Out of place overly elaborate particles obscuring visibility and over the top animations are not gameplay. But they are signs of obfuscating gameplay deficiencies with vfx.
These are just animations of one weapon. Combat gameplay requires enemies as you can't hit yourself. Animation cancelling, dodge, parry, blocking, enemy reactions and a lot more are needed to know how fluid the gameplay actually is. Your clip only shows graphics and animations.
There's clearly some confusion on what "gameplay" is. You pressing one button doesn't constitute insane gameplay just because your character does a flashy move. Gameplay is a product of YOUR actions, not the character's.
