In 2010 at the @MAPS conference, during a lunch, I grabbed any empty chair at a 4 seat table and ate with Nick Sand (legendary LSD chemist who made Orange Sunshine), John Perry Barlow (Grateful Dead lyricist and early internet pioneer, founded EFF), and Paul Daley (Sasha Shulgins research asst.) 16 years later, still seems surreal. Also got to give Sasha an art piece that details his 25-step LSD synthesis from TIHKAL. Conferences are cool.
