This may not be a popular take, but it seems like Tesla made the same mistakes with the Roadster as they did with the Cybertruck. They went completely overboard. While the Roadster demo was spectacular. It was just a demo and most owners won't get or use the features shown off. The thrusters dictate so much of the vehicle's design and likely single-handedly delayed the vehicle. The thrusters only provide a one-time, 5 second boost before the tank is depleted. From estimates gathered online, the tank also costs $500 - $2,000 to fill. Instead of the original sleek design that was already prototyped with 2+2 seating and could be used around town, Tesla designed the vehicle around the thrusters. It's not practical and you have to mount on a windshield wiper if it starts raining. While the demo was amazing, this isn't the vehicle most people wanted and Tesla likely spent 10s of millions of dollars developing the thruster system instead of focusing on releasing a quad-motor version of the 2017 Roadster on time. Is this what you wanted in the Roadster?

As I saw firsthand in Ukraine last month, Putin is losing this war. Ukraine has fought the Russian military to a standstill and reinvented warfare with drones taking the fight into the heart of Russia. America should not be throwing a lifeline to Putin’s war machine. Now is the time to stand strong against Russian aggression as we did during the first Trump administration. Putin doesn’t want peace. Putin wants Ukraine. I have no doubt that if Putin overruns Ukraine, it will only be a matter of time until Russia’s military crosses a border that our troops will have to deal with him. America is the Leader of the Free World. For our National Security, for the security of our Allies in Europe including Ukraine, President Trump should rescind this deal immediately and return to the strong policies of our four years in the White House; impose harsh sanctions on any nation purchasing Russian energy and work with our allies to ensure Ukraine has the military support it needs to repel and defeat this Russian invasion once and for all. Stegras maskade rapport avslöjar kostnaderna: 55 miljarder Förseningarna och finansieringsproblemen beskrivs delvis i bolagets halvårsrapport till Energimyndigheten för januari-juni 2026. I bilagan till samma redovisning uppger bolaget att byggproduktionen gått "långsammare än planerat", att tidplanen ses över och att nya pengar ska täcka "högre projektkostnader". Men trots detta anger bolaget i samma rapport att "finansieringen är säkrad" och Stegra svarar "Ja" på frågan om projektet löper enligt plan. Rapporten är daterad den 2 september. $NBIS is the only emerging SI cloud that’s trying to build a real standing in the SI ecosystem, and it’s a very similar play to what NVIDIA and Palantir have been doing for years, just in a different part of the stack: NVIDIA in the chip layer. Nebius in SI-native cloud infrastructure trending toward agentic applications. And Palantir in the application / ontology layer. These are perfectly complementary layers of the vertical SI stack, and it’s only natural that they’re getting increasingly close to each other. A-gamers tend to gravitate toward other A-gamers that make them more complete. These days, proximity to NVIDIA and Palantir has become sort of a badge of honor and a major validation mark for smaller companies building around them and looking to get closer to them. And Nebius, in my view, is the only new SI cloud trying to become something more than a GPU reseller, and building toward becoming that same kind of gravity well in its own domain. This means that for many SI startups, proximity to Nebius could become increasingly strategic and beneficial, much in the same way Nebius bulls were overjoyed when NVIDIA took a stake in the company and Palantir named it its preferred infrastructure partner. And if that thesis plays out, it should naturally attract higher-quality customers, partnerships, and margins. There are many, many clues that the company is thinking and building in this direction. These things will naturally take a few years to fully play out, but I think this is going to become more and more obvious with time.

Men du kan inte köpa bröd för aktier. Med (V)s tankar om förmögenhetsskatt så måste du plötsligt sälja av 2% av ditt företag varje år bara för att *andra* satt ett högre pris på dina aktier, du har inte gjort något annorlunda, endast varit en duktig entreprenör. Detta är en av många anledningar till att förmögenhetsskatten är så ofärdig i tanken. Det är en skrivbordsprodukt som endast funkar i teorin.
