As a father and a grandfather, one of the things that breaks my heart is seeing what the skyrocketing cost of living is doing to our families.
Everything I worked for, raising my family, building a future, and creating a life where I could enjoy my kids and grandkids right here at home, is being threatened by high costs and bad policy. Our kids and grandkids are literally being forced to leave California because it has become too expensive.

I will sue California for this on Day 1 in office. @GavinNewsom and @jacquiirwin passed AB 2017, which authorizes the State Board of Education to adopt model curriculum guides for Islamic holidays in public schools.
Their bill grants special permissions for teaching our kids about Islamic holidays, but it fails to provide parallel statutory authorization for Christian or Jewish holidays.
Do NOT send Jacqui Irwin to Washington to pass more bills like this. Vote for me to represent CA-26 in Congress on or before Nov 3!
