Someone said to me once that
Suicidal thoughts are a liar.
And that idea was helpful to them.

With suicide there's the Werther effect where reporting it, especially in well known people, can lead to others doing it.
My ignorance was from responsible reporting at the time.
The Papageno effect is that media reporting well known folk recovering from crisis helps others.

Just watched Bel on iplayer and ooft. I had not realised she died by suicide.
The film tells her story with love by those that knew her and could see her extraordinary talent.
Her debut album is finally finished and is up for the @sayaward.

X is pretty dead for getting posts seen these days. The SAY Award should be a big deal but is getting no engagement on here or FB at all. A bit better on Insta but with 400 albums submitted and their fans, would expect more support from the artists and the 100 nominators.
As the summer festivals come to an end we're looking ahead to our very full gig calendar. We're especially excited for The SAY Award Ceremony on 5th November in Dundee's Caird Hall.
