This weekend, anticipate the following service adjustments due to planned track work: 🟡 No Yellow Line rail service 🔵 Modified service on the Blue Line between Franconia-Springfield and Huntington ⚪ Modified service on the Silver Line between Ashburn and New Carrollton Although there will be increased service frequency on the Blue Line, customers will need to plan extra travel time as this alternative will result in a longer commute. A new chapter for Braddock Rd station is underway. 🚇 Metro is seeking proposals to transform 3.4 acres of Metro-owned property into a walkable, mixed-use destination featuring housing, retail, public gathering spaces, and stronger connections to transit. Located on the Blue and Yellow lines, the site offers an exciting opportunity to bring more people closer to reliable transit while supporting Alexandria’s continued growth and creating long-term value for the region.
