Young point guards don’t understand the value of pushing hard in transition like Jason Kidd or advancing the ball up the sideline like Steve Nash. Too many walk it up and size up their defender like it’s 1-on-1. You’ll impress coaches far more playing like Kidd and Nash.

The better players are the less chaotic the game looks when they play. Ppl will often watch an elite bball game and think the players aren’t trying when the reality is they are just really good. No wasted movement, no chaos for no reason, just fluid body movement and decisions.

Midwest Live was an amazing opportunity to show that @MohiganHoops can compete with and beat elite schools from across Ohio - which seems to have an endless supply of talent and well-coached teams!

We competed against some elite talent, including a win over Cincinnati LaSalle and this big fella. Don’t overlook the Mohigans on the recruiting trail. 2027: Max Frey, Collin Ridgeway 2028: Arlo Colistra, Blaze Colistra, Sam Frey, Jacob DeBastiani, Kai Henkins & more. #Toughness

Another big time win for the Mohigans today vs Toledo St. Francis de Sales! We were placed in tier 1 of the NCAA Midwest Live and played a lot of D1 talent. A couple massive wins this weekend. A great group of young men! We can’t wait to pick back up in the fall! #MidwestLive

Great weekend at @TheHoopGroup @NookBasketball in Manheim, PA this weekend. Averaged 16 ppg shooting over 40% from 3!! Here are some of my highlights. Let’s go Legends!! @WVLegendsHoops @PrepHoops_WV
