We already have Ethereum, Tron, Solana, and many other networks.
We also have stablecoins that make digital money easier to hold and transfer.
But thereโs still a problem.
These networks donโt work like one unified payment system.
Moving money across them can involve different:
โ Liquidity
โ Fees
โ Infrastructure
โ Settlement processes
So a simple payment can become a complicated infrastructure problem for the business or developer building it.
This is the problem @atumhq is trying to solve.
Atum is building a payment layer above the networks we already use.
Instead of requiring every application to build separate payment infrastructure for different networks, Atum is designed to coordinate the payment process across them.
The basic idea is:
Payment request โ Atum โ Settlement โ Recipient
The underlying networks still do what they do.
Atum's goal is to make the payment layer connecting them simpler.
And that's what makes the project interesting to me.
