Albo is disliked by many due to 'eugenics'. That is, some folks are sniffy and think that the PM is from poor 'stock'. That aside, Albo is very loose when out of his minders and PR people's gaze. An unscripted Albo is truly scary and often inappropriate. Take the Kylie remarks!
Angus said immigration got up to 550,000 one year. Libs are right to cut the intake to 100,000. I'd allow even fewer in. This is a vote winner. Stuff the so-called Universities, like La Trobe, who have lived large on international students.
Prince Andrew to sue Brit cops for arrest and home search. Sounds a bit like when Cliff Richard's home was searched after a whiff of something based on one bloke's claim. Cliff said he wouldn't live in the UK again.
Cripes here we go again: Fitness guru on DV rap. If this involves choking or strangulation- which now occurs on the statutes books as a separate and grave offence- then this pretty boy house developer could be in a spot of bother. After pride comes a fall.
I don't really give a shit about Hanson's rhetoric on race or religion. I am critical enough to dismiss this. I am savouring the effect that a Hanson vote will have on Labor, and by extension Albo. I am enjoying the squirm. Labor is condemned. Voters stopped listening years ago.
The Age had a tribute to Hilary McPhee, who d. last Tue. She was 85. It said she wed some guy Peter, once. But it omitted her marriages to Michie and to Don Watson. I knew her son James in 2000 at La Trobe. He recalled Keating's visits to the home. Literary heavyweight?
Looking at my 1972 hardback ed. of BOLTE by Peter Blazey the other night. Bolte thought electors usually got it right, as the cliche goes. However, Henry Bolte added that voters only change a govt when they perceive a valid alternative. That second condition is very apt indeed.
