What a great night! Yankees get swept by the amazing Tampa Bay Rays.
And the Atlanta Braves lose their series to the Dodgers.
Two evil empires go down in the same night.

Well, the Dodgers beat the Braves, taking the last two games in Atlanta.
No surprise. The Braves were bound to letdown after beating the Phillies.
Those redneck, racist, delusional, arrogant, bandwagon Atlanta fans who were so cocky, can now go back to watching wrasslin & Nascar.

Instead of extending Dave Dombrowski, he should be fired. Six years in Philly and we are no closer to a championship.
Ultimately, John Middleton is to blame. The buck stops with him. He hired Dombrowski. He signs off on trades, free agents.
The Phillies are a mess.

Jaguars are so much better than the Eagles. And they are used to the routine of playing in London. The Birds are in chaos mode with all the injuries. I don't feel good about Sunday.

If the rumors are true and the Phillies are " listening" to offers for Turner & Harper, I say why not? If a team gives you a king's ransom of real prospects in return you have to consider it.
Duran would get a nice return. Bohm, Marsh, Nola, Stott you may have to package.

Cora refusing the Phillies- again- is a bad sign for the franchise. Not that Cora is a great manager. He's obviously turned off by the direction of the organization, saddled by bad contracts and aging, declining players.
Why not contact Jimmy Rollins for an interview?

Eagles got a steal with a 2nd round pick from Baltimore for Cam Jergens but help won't arrive until 2028.
Who blocks this year?

White Sox vs Rays for the American League pennant would be unexpected and fun.
Are the Chisox a team of destiny? Divine intervention? The White Sox would be everyone's favorite underdog if they played the mighty Dodgers in the WS.
Would Pope Leo attend the series?

Nice to see the Braves lose last night. Let's hope they do it again tonight
There was bound to be a letdown after Atlanta beat the Phillies in what was their World Series.
Ronald Acuna Jr is a dog.

Nice to see the Braves lose Game 1 in LA.
I knew ATL would be primed for a letdown after an emotional win against the Phillies.
Plus their pitching is messed up. Pitching Sale to close out Thursday was a mistake.
Dodgers are too good & ATL isn't that good.
