Here is a comparison of police shootings in the US vs. ICE/CBP shootings that you referenced for the same time frame. Per thousand officers over those 20 months: Immigration agents: ~0.5 people shot, ~0.2 killed Police: ~4 people shot, ~2.5 killed The point being immigration officers aren't "disproportionately shooting" people.

Rep Clark, do you know how many people other law enforcement agencies have shot and killed in the same time frame? It is unfortunately the case that people who break the law have no respect for law enforcement and so apprehensions can get violent.

The "danger" is resisting the law. The danger is electeds defending illegal presence by criminal trespassers. The danger is believing that ICE is the issue, when they are only enforcing federal law. The law is the law, there is no sanctuary for aliens.
