Actual Anatolians are closely related to Greeks and genetically no more Eastern than Cypriots and South Aegean Islanders. Mycenaeans had heavy Anatolian ancestry themselves.

Germany's birth rates are largely bogged down by Eastern Germany which is the region that by far has the least amount of foreigners. Accounting for western regions where native birth rate reaches ~1.3 and almost all foreign nationals reside, the gap actually closes significantly.
